Returns, Exchanges, & Cancellations

Custom Orders

All items are custom made to order with exact details and color specifications of your choice. Returns and exchanges for custom orders are NOT accepted. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us PRIOR to ordering. Once the order is received, supplies are purchased and we get to work promptly, therefore, cancellations on all custom orders are NOT accepted. 


Final Sale Items

All sale items (including samples) and international sales are FINALand do NOT qualify for refunds or exchanges. Gift Certificates are non-refundable.


Ready to Ship

All our products are carefully handmade, so purchases are non-refundable. Exchanges are only permitted on defective products. In order to qualify for an exchange, you must send an email to info.melanatedhands@gmail.com to begin the exchange process. Once your request is received, a confirmation and approval/denial will be sent via email. If the exchange is approved, we must receive your returned item(s) within 10 days. If the items are returned after 10 days, the item(s) will be immediately returned to the sender. All returned item must be received by Melanated Hands Craft Studio, LLC in their original condition. If your item(s) are returned in unsatisfactory condition (torn, worn, or stained), the item(s) will be NOT be accepted and will be returned at the sender's expense.

The purchaser is responsible for all shipping and handling charges for exchanges. Please be sure to include tracking on your returned item(s). We cannot be held responsible for lost mail. We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who makes excessive exchanges. All sale items (including samples) and international sales are FINAL and do NOT qualify for refunds or exchanges. Gift Certificates are non-refundable. 


We reserve the right to modify our policies at any time. Please review them, prior to placing an order. Once posted to the website, any modifications to the policies will take effect immediately.
