Shipping Information

Ready to ship items are shipped within 1-3 business days. Most items are made upon request. These items will be made and shipped within 1-3 weeks, for smaller items and 4-6 weeks, for larger ones. However, your order may take longer or shorter to process, depending on the product ordered, the number of items ordered, and the volume of orders being received. Orders placed during busy periods, such as the spring, summer, and holiday seasons, can take up to 6-8 weeks. If you need your order by a certain date, please include the request date on your online order or contact us to discuss and CONFIRM that your desired timeframe is possible. Your patience and understanding of the time required to make your custom order is greatly appreciated. 

All items are shipped through the United States Postal Service (USPS). When your order is shipped, you will be notified and provided tracking information via email. Please allow 3-5 business days for your order to arrive. Orders requested by a specific date, will be postmarked and shipped in enough time to arrive by the agreed upon date. However once your order has been shipped, Melanated Hands Craft Studio, LLC is no longer responsible. It is the responsibility of the USPS to deliver your order in the estimated timeframe the USPS provides. We do include insurance on all shipments and whenever possible check on items delivery status to ensure they are received in a timely manner.  Limited international shipping is available upon request.  

If you suspect there is an issue with your package, please contact us immediately. Should a package be returned to us at the fault of Melanated Hands Craft Studio, LLC your order will be reshipped at no additional cost to you. However, if we are NOT responsible for the returned item, we will request that you cover the cost for your order to be reshipped.  We ship all items to the shipping address provided. Be sure that the shipping address is correct when placing your order. If needed, please send an email to info.melanatedhands@gmail.com to reflect the change of address as soon as possible.

Pick Up/Delivery Information: If you live locally, in the Kansas City, Missouri area, we do offer FREE delivery within a 15 mile radius of our studio. Only one delivery attempt will be made. You may contact us to schedule pick up for your order, if you prefer.
